Phoenician wine is known to us from ancient texts, and it was spread across the Mediterranean basin by this people’s maritime trading culture, alongside their land’s ancestral species of wine grapes, knowledge of viticulture and winemaking, and the alphabet. They inspired and influenced early winemakers such as the Romans and Ancient Greeks. And till this day, their Lebanese descendants live by these principles of sharing knowledge and their love of life.
